May we introduce...
Cecile went into labor on April 28th at about 20:00. Her water broke at midnight and at 1:55 we welcomed our little Emma. Just one day before Jean's second birthday.
We had to wait until this morning for the staff to weigh her. She clocks in at 3.2 kilos (7 pounds for those of Imperial persuasion!). We still don't know her height! Not sure if the person doing the measuring around here is on a vacation or if they lost the measuring tape...
Jean saw her this morning.He was happy to meet his little sister but too shy to take her in his arms. Cecile is tired but thankful that everything went well.
We are hoping to get a passport for Emma as soon as possible in order to head back to L. on May 7th.
