Surgery update

Precious Friends,

I had to wait till 22.30 last night to be able to see Sam after his time in recovery room. The surgeons worked hard for 12 hours.

They told me that they didn’t expect to find the tumour so difficult to extract. But they were able to remove it all.

They were unfortunately unable to preserve the facial nerve… which results in a facial palsy and deafness on the left.

“Yet, I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my SAVIOR.

The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights.”

Habakkuk 3: 18-19
