Thanksgiving & Prayer

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Phil 4:6-7


A few days ago we found out that we have reached 70 % of our monthly support requirement and 100 % of our outgoing expenses!!! We are truly amazed by and thankful for God's provision over the past few months. All of a sudden it seemed like the goal was within reach and that we would soon be able to leave for South-East Asia.

But yesterday we got word that the project still hasn't been signed. Despite government officials having made statements almost guaranteeing the success of MAF's application it now seems that they are trying to "backpedal". At this point we don't know what's causing this change in attitude. Please pray that the door would stay open and that we would be able to experience Phil 4:6-7.

On a more encouraging note the project manager also writes: “I strongly believe that there are opportunities for us in [South East Asia] and that your presence will help us succeed. I wish you were already there since you would be able to meet the decision makers and get better answers. I look forward to your involvement.”
